Living Magnificently with Leo Tolstoy
I love books and therefore I love authors
“One can live magnificently in this world, if one knows how to work and how to love, to work for the person one loves and to love one’s work.” — Leo Tolstoy
It’s true. I do live magnificently for loving books, loving work, and working for the authors who make that possible. So, merci beaucoup.
But living magnificently, for me, has also come from taking on the challenges and long-game journey of entrepreneurship. It’s ongoing self-development and real-world engagement, acumen, and mano a mano rolled into one.
And that’s why I encourage you to meet your author goals by committing to an author business of your preferred size and flavor. Stick with it and it will be enriching and magnificent in ways you can’t yet imagine.
Tolstoy checklist:
- Do you know how to work?
- Do you know how to love?
- Do you love your work?
- Do you work for someone you love — Readers? Learners? Those in your field? Who?
