Iwill tell you up front: I am a reckless optimist. I can hand over hope, vision, possibility, and cheerleading willy-nilly to any wisp of a good idea that catches my fancy. It’s like optimism grows on trees. A renewable resource. The limitlessness of fusion energy.

Just so you know where I’m coming from…when I tell you not worry about AI and the future of content and the prospects for those of us who produce it. Me. And you. And all authors, writers, and creatives.

Here are three ways I see authors thriving going forward despite the ongoing march of AI advancements.

As AI moves eyeballs away from the internet, we’ll have other tricks up our sleeves.

AI watchers expect that with AI being embedded in more and more places, giving us direct access to the answers we seek, that we’ll begin relying less on web searches for information. Which means that people will be spending less time on the internet. Which to me says that the online opportunities for marketing and dissemination of information that authors have come to rely upon will diminish…
