Ha. Ha. Shortcuts in business.

There are shortcuts, actually. And if you’re an author looking for increased exposure, income, and satisfaction around your book/s, experience, knowledge, and author status, then a part-time or full-time business around that is your quickest path to desired results.

That’s even true if you have a full-time job or are retired and consider your author life more of a hobby or sideline. From what I’ve seen publishing, coaching, and consulting with authors for almost three decades, an entrepreneurial approach to your book marketing and author activities is the solid and dependable, short and enduring route to all the goods.

These things are shortcuts because they:

  • prevent or counterbalance many missteps,
  • account for the big picture and the long term in the day-to-day showing up and details,
  • create something sustainable, lasting, and supportive as you go, and
  • get you where you want to go sooner than later.
