An entrepreneur juggling multiple endeavors since I was 16, I have read my share of business books and followed their advice as it made sense. I’ve also come to some of my own conclusions based on experience, observation, and lots of conversations with authors, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurial authors.

And one exciting business trend I want to share with you — to which I say, YES!!, and it’s about time — are business books from female entrepreneurs on easier, chiller, better ways to run businesses that are customized for the life you want to live.

You decide the life you want to live. And then you plan your business around that.

This, I know, is the best approach for authors who want an enduring and profitable author life they love. (Here I write about 8 ways to customize your marketing to align your book business with your larger life story.)
